Mood: MUST. PREPARE. FOR. 2012

So I got my new phone yesterday. I took that picture up there of Sandra driving. All 8 megapixels of beauty if you ask me ;)

Well today is New Year’s Eve. What am I doing today? Im gonna be cleaning out my room today! In preparation for a whole new year of messes up ahead, I feel as though the messes of 2011 must be put away. That and being organized is always a plus. With this comes my big, year-end metaphor: LET US ALL APPROACH THIS NEW YEAR AS IF CLEANING OUR ROOMS. Nobody really wants to do it but it has to happen. Just kidding. So with this comes having to make decisions about what stays and what goes. Maybe something worked this year that can help again, maybe something else really had no use in your life or really just distracted you in your room just has to PEACE. It’s a time really re-evaluate and take a step back and really see what needs cleaning. Maybe we’ll even uncover some buried memories that’ll make us laugh, cry, krump, etc.

I think the point I’m trying to make here is to hold on to what was good, let go of what wasn’t, and to learn from both to make the next year the bomb-diggity.

Here’s to 2011. For all the hurts, failures, letdowns that it taught us with. For all the laughs, victories, and surprises that came our way.

Here’s to the coming 2012. To more laughs, hugs, hurts, stress, growth, prayer, friends, food, wounds, comics, birthdays, memories, showers, sitting, exercise, challenges, dancing, jamming, singing, etc. You will be a good year. I’ll make damn sure.
